Perle Ahoi!

Kennt ihr schon das neueste Buch-Baby aus dem Creanon Verlag? "Perle Ahoi!" von Susanne Engels beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit in Netztechnik gefädelten Schmückern. Ein maritimer roter Faden bot sich da quasi direkt an :-)
Did you see already the new beading book from Creanon? "Perle Ahoi!" by Susanne Engels is mainly featuring jewelry using netting stitch. This called for a maritime fil rouge :-) (The book only comes in German language, but the 3D graphics are great!)

Ich durfte ein ganz kleines bisschen mithelfen und Farbvarianten der Bojen (Seite 53) beisteuern. Und einige der Muscheln und Schnecken aus meiner Sammelvitrine gaben ein Gastspiel als Hintergrunddeko.
I also could help a little bit. I made some color samples of a ball pendant (page 53) and some pieces from my sea shell collection made for nice props and background deco.

Zur Belohnung bekam ich ein Exemplar des Buches geschenkt. Das nächste Teilchen musste ich auch gleich fädeln, die Qualle! Einmal richtig quallig in transparent und silber mit kleinem Fischchen dran und einmal in lila-grün mit dichtem Tentakelgewirr. Sieht schon ein wenig Cthulhu-esk aus, oder?
I was rewarded with a free book and of course I had to bead the next piece, the jellyfish! One colorway really jellyfish-y with transparent and silver beads and a little crystal fish dangle. The other one in purple and green with a long tentacle beard. Looks a little bit Cthulhu-ish, I think.
